Seven MEXC Futures Contracts Are Being Delisted: What Should Traders Check?
MEXC has scheduled the delisting of seven USDC-M Perpetual Futures pairs for September 25, 2026, at 07:00 UTC, or 2:00 PM WIB. The affected pairs are ETHFI, SAHARA, ICNT, NEIROCTO, BOME, AEVO, and PNUT against USDC.
A futures-pair delisting is not the same as removing a spot asset or ending the blockchain project behind a token. This change specifically concerns the listed USDC-M perpetual-futures pairs.
For traders, the key issue is not guessing the reason for a delisting. It is checking for open positions, pending orders, or Futures Grid Trading strategies connected to the affected pairs. MEXC states that positions will be closed at the fair price at the time of delisting and that all open orders will be cancelled.
The event is also a reminder that perpetual futures are platform-managed products. Contracts can be discontinued, terms can change, and traders need to monitor official announcements when they have active exposure.
What Happens When a Contract Is Delisted
MEXC states that positions in the affected pairs will be closed at the fair price when delisting takes place. Fair price is the platform’s reference price for that process. It may not be identical to the last traded price displayed immediately before the contract is removed.
All open orders will also be cancelled. Traders using stop orders, take-profit orders, limit orders, or other order types should not assume that those orders will remain active after the delisting time.
If the pair is used in Demo Trading or Futures Grid Trading, it will also be removed from the relevant feature. Futures Grid Trading users should disable affected grids in line with the official announcement.

Four Things to Check Before and After Delisting
A. Open Positions and Margin
Traders should review position size, long or short direction, leverage, used margin, and the estimated outcome of closing before the scheduled time. Closing a position independently gives a trader more control over execution timing than waiting for the delisting process.
That decision still needs to account for spread, order-book depth, and fast price movement. No single action is appropriate for every position.
B. Fair Price and Last Price
Fair price is used to support a more measured closure process when a pair is delisted. It may differ from the last price, because the last price reflects the most recent transaction while fair price can use the platform’s valuation method.
Traders should read the contract terms and official announcement rather than relying only on the final candlestick. A gap between the visible price and the closing reference can affect the final result.
C. Automated Orders and Trading Bots
Limit orders, stop losses, take-profit orders, and grid bots require particular attention. When a pair is delisted, open orders are cancelled and related grid features may also be removed.
After the process, traders should check order history, closed positions, futures balances, and any automated strategies previously connected to the affected pair.
D. The Underlying Token Is Not Necessarily Removed Everywhere
Delisting one futures contract does not automatically mean the underlying token has been removed from spot trading, deposits, withdrawals, or every other product. Each product status should be checked separately through official trading pages and announcements.
Treating a futures-pair delisting as the disappearance of an entire token can lead to incorrect decisions.
Checklist After the Delisting Process
After the scheduled time, traders can review:
Position history to confirm the closing price and time.
Recorded realised profit and loss.
Available USDC and futures-margin balances.
Active orders or bots linked to the affected pairs.
The token’s status in spot or other products, where relevant.
A futures delisting is not a reason to panic. Traders who ignore the schedule, however, may lose control over their position-exit timing. Reading the announcement, understanding fair price, and reviewing active orders are essential parts of derivatives risk management.
