To further enhance asset security and ensure safer transactions, MEXC P2P is updating the two-factor authentication (2FA) process effective February 10, 2025.
Key Updates
- 2FA will now be required every time you release cryptocurrency, replacing the previous configuration where it was needed once every 30 minutes. This update significantly enhances transaction security.
- We highly recommend enabling Google Authenticator for a smoother, more secure experience.

Need Flexibility?
You can customize your 2FA frequency settings to suit your preferences:
- Go to User Center → Crypto Release Verification Settings.
- Adjust the settings, including switching back to the 30-minute interval if desired.
Please note that reducing 2FA frequency may increase security risks.
