Second, price support would need to come from sustainable spot demand rather than excessive derivatives leverage. Leveraged rallies can reverse rapidly when funding rates rise or liquidation thresholds are reached.
 
Third, demand would need to remain distributed across ETFs, crypto-native venues, corporate holders and long-term investors. Dependence on one dominant capital channel would make Bitcoin vulnerable when that channel reverses.
 
Fourth, any decline in equity correlation would need to persist across longer measurement periods. Daily or weekly divergence can identify a changing market dynamic, but structural conclusions require evidence through several market regimes.
 
The evidence currently supports a narrower conclusion. Bitcoin may be developing a more autonomous pricing process, but it has not become independent of global liquidity or traditional financial conditions.
