According to
BitcoinTreasuries.NET, Swedish-listed company Bitcoin Treasury Capital has launched Europe’s first BTC-backed preferred share on Spotlight Stock Market under the ticker BTC PREF. The product offers a 10% annualized dividend paid monthly, allowing investors to gain exposure to returns associated with corporate Bitcoin reserves through traditional securities accounts. The launch shows that European capital markets are exploring structures that combine corporate Bitcoin holdings with fixed-income instruments, although returns will still depend on the issuer’s ability to meet its obligations and the underlying asset arrangements.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, one year after the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, the legislation remains stalled in the Senate amid opposition from the banking sector and partisan disagreements. Industry organizations view Section 604 as a critical safeguard for open-source developers, node operators, and validators. Removing the provision could cause non-custodial software development to be classified as a money transmission service, potentially subjecting developers to Bank Secrecy Act obligations and constitutional disputes. The bill also addresses crypto custody accounting rules and acknowledges that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission previously rescinded SAB 121.
According to TechCrunch, AI inference infrastructure startup Infinity has raised $15 million at a valuation of $100 million. Investors included Touring Capital, Principal VC, and researchers affiliated with organizations including OpenAI and Anthropic. Infinity is developing a universal inference library designed to enable different AI chips to automatically reproduce cutting-edge AI research while improving hardware performance through software optimization. The funding will support further technology development and product construction, reflecting continued investor interest in cross-chip compatibility, inference efficiency, and the software layer of AI infrastructure.
According to a post by Ansem on X, the cryptocurrency market remains in a period of substantial growth potential, and the current cycle could attract the largest level of retail participation in the industry’s history. The view is based on improvements in mobile trading experiences, lower barriers to wallet onboarding, stronger cross-chain capabilities, and institutional narratives involving token-plus-equity models, RWA, and regulatory frameworks. At the same time, Meme tokens and low-market-cap assets continue to provide high-risk opportunities for speculative capital, potentially allowing professional investment and retail trading demand to expand within the same market cycle.
According to Blockworks, tokenized asset trading volume on Solana reached $5.8 billion in the second quarter of 2026, representing a 114% increase from the previous quarter. Tokenized equity trading accounted for $4.8 billion, equivalent to 97% of all tokenized equity trading volume across the market, with institutional RWA demand serving as the primary growth driver. Meanwhile, declining Meme-token activity caused Solana’s real economic value to fall 43% quarter over quarter to $51 million, while DEX spot trading volume declined to $160.8 billion. SOL spot ETPs recorded net inflows of $120 million, and total staked SOL reached 427 million tokens.
According to CoinDesk, Nasdaq-listed cryptocurrency wallet provider Exodus will cut 25% of its global workforce to reduce costs and redirect its business toward stablecoin payments and card infrastructure. The company said the restructuring forms part of its strategy to build a full-stack payments platform following its acquisitions of Monavate and Baanx. Exodus expects the changes to reduce annual cash operating expenses by $10 million to $13 million by 2027, while generating restructuring costs of $3.5 million. The adjustment reflects a broader shift among wallet providers from standalone asset-management tools toward payment and card-issuing infrastructure.
According to CNBC, AMD has officially launched Helios, its first rack-scale system designed for artificial intelligence, with Microsoft, Meta, OpenAI, and Oracle among the companies adopting the platform. Microsoft plans to deploy Helios in Azure data centers to support frontier AI model inference, Azure AI services, and enterprise applications, with deliveries expected to begin later this year. Market data indicates that Nvidia currently holds more than 95% of the data-center GPU market, while AMD accounts for approximately 4.5%. The successful deployment of Helios could therefore influence AMD’s ability to gain a larger share of the AI computing infrastructure market.
According to Cointelegraph, Vietnam issued Decree 284/2026/NĐ-CP on July 16, establishing administrative penalties for cryptocurrency-related violations. The regulations will take effect on September 1. Individuals trading cryptocurrency through unauthorized platforms may be fined up to 50 million Vietnamese dong, equivalent to approximately $1,900. Unauthorized issuance of crypto assets or serious violations of anti-money-laundering rules may result in fines of up to 200 million Vietnamese dong, or approximately $7,700. Regulators may also suspend noncompliant operations, revoke business licenses, and confiscate related assets, providing an enforcement framework for Vietnam’s licensed cryptocurrency market.
According to Globewire, AI security startup Neo has raised $100 million in a round led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Craft Ventures and Merlin Ventures. Neo describes itself as an “Agentic Software Control” company and plans to build a real-time enterprise control layer that helps security operations teams manage AI agents, AI applications, browsers, identity systems, and intelligent capabilities embedded in traditional software. The new capital will be used to expand the company’s engineering and marketing teams and accelerate enterprise customer acquisition as the rapid adoption of AI agents creates additional permission-management and cybersecurity requirements.

Recently, users should remain alert to physical-letter phishing campaigns impersonating hardware wallet manufacturers. Scammers may send forged notices claiming that a “security upgrade,” “account verification,” or “device deactivation” is required, directing recipients to scan a QR code, visit a counterfeit website, and enter their 24-word recovery phrase. Once the recovery phrase is exposed, attackers can gain complete control of the wallet and transfer its assets. Ledger has clearly stated that it will never request a recovery phrase through SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, telephone calls, or physical letters, and will never ask users to enter it on a computer or website. Anyone receiving such a notice should avoid scanning the QR code, verify information only by manually entering the official website address, reject transactions they did not initiate, and ensure that a recovery phrase is entered only on the hardware wallet itself during the recovery process.
