Crypto enthusiast XRPMaxi1965 (@eviethedog65) recently told XRP holders: “Stop worrying! You’re about to become as rich as fu*k.”

The post quickly garnered a wide range of responses from the XRP army. XRP has struggled recently, and many market participants were excited for good news. However, not everyone was bullish.

Believers and Skeptics Respond

One reply asked whether a psychic friend mentioned the timeline.  XRPMaxi1965 replied: “60 – 90 days.” Several replies embraced the prediction without hesitation. One said he is ready to ride. Another said everyone hopes it comes true.

A third commenter shared her excitement and anticipation, revealing that she had been a teacher for years and did not make decent money. She sees XRP as an opportunity to improve the lives of her loved ones.

Other replies were negative, with some carrying years of fatigue. One user said he has heard this for years. Another said many have heard the same prediction for a decade. One reply expressed exhaustion, and another told the poster to stop, saying the community is sick of repeated promises.

The XRP army is known for its strong support of the digital asset. However, the recent price struggles have frustrated many investors as they expected the asset to be at higher levels by now. One commenter stated that XRP would not make people rich, and another predicted a drop to $0.30.

Potential Catalysts Behind the Hype

Outside the replies, two actual developments give XRP holders something concrete to point to. Ripple took an equity stake in Flutterwave, Africa’s largest payments processor, on June 16. The deal values Flutterwave at roughly $3.2 billion and brings the XRP Ledger, Ripple Payments, and the RLUSD stablecoin into a network that has already processed over $50 billion in transactions.

The CLARITY Act offers a second catalyst. The bill cleared the Senate Banking Committee on May 14 by a 15-9 vote and now sits on the Senate’s Legislative Calendar. It would create a federal structure separating SEC and CFTC oversight of digital assets, removing years of regulatory uncertainty for XRP and the wider industry.

The SEC and CFTC classified XRP as a commodity in March. This would cement that status under Federal law. Neither development guarantees a 90-day windfall, but they give XRP holders a reason to watch the calendar for another bull run.
