PETALING JAYA: Memilih calon Pakatan Harapan (PH) pada PRN Johor amat penting bagi mengukuhkan semak dan imbang, kata Setiausaha Agung DAP Loke Siew Fook.
Beliau berkata kemenangan calon PH akan memastikan landskap politik Johor tidak dikuasai satu pihak.
“Kalau satu parti (kuasai pentadbiran), sebuah kerajaan tidak ada alternatif, tidak ada semak dan imbang, tidak ada parti lain yang boleh membantah mereka,” katanya, lapor Bernama, ketika berucap pada majlis DAP di Kluang, Johor.
PH bersaing dengan Barisan Nasional di semua 56 kerusi DUN.
Seramai 172 calon bertanding pada PRN yang akan berlangsung 11 Julai.
