Bybit has added Plume fixed income vaults to its RWA Earn section, giving users another route for Stablecoin Yield. The product lets users deploy idle stablecoins from existing exchange accounts into institutional credit products. The move also expands Bybit’s real-world asset push beyond crypto-native lending.

Bybit Opens Fixed Income Access Through Plume

Plume and Bybit structured the vaults to keep the process simple for exchange users. Users can allocate stablecoins through Bybit Earn’s RWA section without leaving the platform. As a result, Bybit creates a direct path to Stablecoin Yield through fixed income exposure.

The vaults link user funds to products tied to PIMCO and CMBI. The asset mix includes mortgage-backed securities, high-yield corporate bonds, and Asia-Pacific investment-grade bonds. Therefore, the income model follows credit markets rather than crypto token price cycles.

Bybit positions the product beside other Earn options, which makes access familiar for stablecoin holders. The exchange also connects the vaults with its custody and credit infrastructure. This setup gives users Stablecoin Yield while keeping account management inside Bybit.

Real-World Asset Products Gain Exchange Distribution

The launch comes as crypto exchanges add more real-world asset products for yield-focused users. Tokenized treasuries, bond funds, and credit strategies have gained traction across major platforms. Consequently, Stablecoin Yield now increasingly connects with traditional finance instruments.

Plume has built several routes for real-world asset distribution in recent months. It previously worked with Ether.fi on a $100 million RWA vault for tokenized yield. That product included credit pools, collateralized loan obligations, and bond ETF exposure.

The Bybit rollout extends that strategy into a larger exchange environment. It also gives asset managers a new route into crypto users without direct token handling. For users, the product offers Stablecoin Yield from securities markets instead of token incentives.

Plume Builds Its RWA Strategy Around Yield Access

Plume’s mainnet focuses on bringing DeFi functions to real-world assets. Its design supports staking, lending, and yield-bearing tokens linked to offchain assets. The Bybit partnership fits its plan to make Stablecoin Yield easier to access.

The vaults also reduce barriers common in traditional fixed income markets. Users normally face larger minimums and longer onboarding for similar products. Bybit and Plume instead package Stablecoin Yield through a familiar exchange product.

The product still carries exchange, custody, and fixed income market risks. However, it shows how centralized exchanges can distribute regulated asset exposure through crypto accounts. If demand grows, more venues may add similar Stablecoin Yield products for idle stablecoins.
