Bee Network just rolled out a new version update, and $BEE Coin now carries a new name: Bee Honey. The rename doesn't touch the numbers at all. Every existing $BEE Coin balance now shows as Bee Honey, and the conversion rate stays locked at 200 BeeHoney for 1 USDT.

This Bee Network news lands while the project's bigger goal, an actual listing, moving forward with ecosystem growth. The token upgrade is small. The roadmap behind it is the real story.

What This New Version Actually Changes for Users

The update only touches the name, not the value or the function. $BEE stays completely separate from BeeHoney, and the two assets play very different roles inside the Bee-Network ecosystem.

$BEE mines automatically through the 24-hour countdown on the homepage. It cannot be traded, withdrawn, or converted yet, until the Bee-Network token has found an exchange listing. 

Bee Honey works the opposite way: it gets earned by completing tasks in the Event Center, sits in the reward wallet, and converts straight to USDT on the Polygon chain.

A short transition period is normal right now. Some screens may still show "Coins" instead of "Bee Honey" until the rollout finishes everywhere. Balances and values stay exactly the same either way.

Listing Roadmap 2026: Still Runs on a Three-Phase Plan 

The official roadmap breaks growth into three phases, and the project sits inside Phase 2 right now. Phase 1 covered the first 1 million users. Phase 2 runs from 1 million to 10 million users and focuses on identity verification and trust building.
