According to Odaily Planet Daily, decentralized stablecoin USDD released its Q3 2026 treasury report, showing total quarterly treasury revenue of $9.7 million, up 26.7% quarter-over-quarter. Expenses totaled $7,601, while net profit was approximately $9.7 million. The treasury balance reached $31.24 million, surpassing $30 million for the first time and setting a record high. Quarterly revenue growth was driven mainly by Smart Allocator, which generated $9.11 million in asset allocation income, while quarterly expenses fell 69.4%. According to official website data, USDD currently has a supply of $1.78 billion, TVL of $2.48 billion, and Smart Allocator has generated and distributed $32.16 million in cumulative yield.
According to Cointelegraph, the U.S. Congress is advancing the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act (H.R.10357). Section 502 requires the U.S. Treasury to establish a “Digital Asset Voluntary Disclosure Program” within 12 months after the legislation takes effect. Eligible taxpayers would be able to correct prior digital asset tax violations by filing amended returns and paying outstanding taxes and interest, while receiving certain penalty relief. The bill has passed the House Ways and Means Committee by a vote of 38-5, but still requires approval from the full House and Senate as well as the President’s signature. The program is intended to provide a formal channel for correcting historical digital asset tax compliance issues.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, ENS DAO has launched an on-chain vote on a proposal to activate ENSv2 on Ethereum mainnet. Voting will end on October 25 at 13:32. So far, six wallets have cast 531,300 ENS, with approximately 100% of votes in favor, although quorum has not yet been reached. The proposal includes 15 operations that would be executed simultaneously by a DAO-controlled execution contract. If any single operation fails, none of the operations will take effect. The previously approved pricing plan would become effective after execution and would also apply to renewals of unmigrated domains, while the increase in annual fees for domains with five or more characters remains controversial within the community.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, crypto analyst Ignas said PAPER mining rewards have fallen from 100 PAPER for every $1 of eligible trading loss during the early stage to around 11 PAPER today. At the current reward level, a trade with a $1,000 loss would generate approximately 10,700 PAPER. Based on recent staking yields, it could take around 200 to 385 days to recover the loss, excluding dilution caused by additional token issuance. Ignas believes that once PAPER becomes transferable, some traders may choose to sell tokens directly to offset losses, creating potential selling pressure. PAPER’s long-term value will depend more heavily on whether Papertrade can maintain genuine trading demand and protocol revenue after incentives decline.
According to Hyperliquid News, the new HIP-3 ticker MOONSHOT was acquired by entropy.io for 574.98 HYPE, worth approximately $46,068. HIP-3 allows developers to deploy and operate customized perpetual markets, while ticker resources themselves are increasingly becoming competitive infrastructure entry points within the ecosystem. The MOONSHOT auction reflects continued competition around new market deployment rights in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. As perpetual markets for equities, commodities, and other real-world assets continue to expand, HIP-3 is gaining broader applications across on-chain derivatives markets.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Initia announced that because Circle plans to discontinue USDC on Noble, USDC within the Initia ecosystem will migrate from Noble to Injective. Initia Labs has developed a redemption vault, and users do not need to take any additional action. Existing USDC.n will remain usable, while newly transferred USDC will arrive as USDC.inj. Outgoing USDC.n will automatically be redeemed through the vault into USDC.inj before continuing to the destination address. Applications may gradually transition from USDC.n to USDC.inj, and users can also convert at a 1:1 ratio through Initia Wallet. After January 12, 2027, USDC.n on Initia will no longer be redeemable through the existing mechanism.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, DePIN and AI open-ecosystem platform IoTeX said its Zanzibar hard fork has gone live on mainnet. Under the IIP-59 proposal, voter staking rewards are now calculated and distributed directly on-chain by the protocol during each reward cycle, eliminating reliance on off-chain services or intermediaries. Users can directly verify every reward payment on-chain. The first on-chain distribution is scheduled for the following day. Zanzibar also introduces delegated-key proof-of-possession checks to strengthen the consensus mechanism and prepare for future BLS signature aggregation, further reducing dependence on external infrastructure for staking reward settlement.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, SpaceX will release its Q3 2026 financial and operating results on October 20, U.S. Central Time, followed by an audio Q&A session with the company’s executive team. SpaceX shareholders can submit and upvote questions in advance, and highly ranked questions may be addressed during the livestream. So far, the question “When will SpaceX merge with Tesla?” has entered the top three most-upvoted questions, making it one of the issues investors are most interested in. The question currently reflects shareholder interest only and does not indicate that either company has disclosed an actual merger plan.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, Justin Sun said during a 3.5-hour in-person conversation with Jin Ming that Hyperliquid is one of the biggest new developments to emerge during the current cycle, while its U.S. equity perpetual products have opened new possibilities for the industry. As more projects enter the U.S. equity perpetual market, Hyperliquid is facing greater competition. Sun said one of the key variables in future DEX-CEX competition will be how U.S. regulators define Hyperliquid’s regulatory boundaries. If the model receives relatively permissive treatment, more centralized trading businesses could potentially experiment with on-chain models; tighter regulation, however, could constrain Hyperliquid’s expansion.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, the team behind the new Zcash software Zakura has proposed assigning an independent viewing key to every ZEC cross-chain swap executed through NEAR Intents, aiming to reduce future privacy risks from quantum computing. When users currently swap ZEC for USDC, NEAR Intents exposes a Zcash refund address on the NEAR blockchain. The address contains a public key generated from a viewing key, which a sufficiently powerful future quantum computer could theoretically derive using Shor’s algorithm. Under the proposed design, each swap would use a separate viewing key, while spending keys would remain within the user’s primary account, reducing correlation risks arising from exposure of a single viewing key.

Recently, users should pay close attention to “edge-case” vulnerabilities in cross-chain bridges and legacy smart contracts. CertiK recently disclosed that HOT Omni Bridge / NEAR Intents was exploited on September 30. The attacker used pre-existing balances of auxiliary tokens to construct abnormal refund requests, causing refund events to exceed NEAR log-size limits and breaking the parsing process. Five BSC treasury payments were ultimately observed, involving approximately $3.86 million. This type of exploit does not depend on ordinary users leaking private keys, but instead targets complex refund, logging, and state-synchronization logic within cross-chain protocols. If a bridge experiences abnormalities, pauses deposits, or issues an official maintenance notice, users should stop initiating cross-chain transfers, avoid unofficial “emergency migration” pages, and wait until the project completes asset reconciliation and announces a formal restoration of service before resuming operations.
