KUALA LUMPUR, June 13 — Kim Kardashian has sent Mercedes Formula One driver Kimi Antonelli a personalised replacement towel after she unknowingly used his during last weekend’s Monaco Grand Prix.
The follow‑up gesture came after widespread social‑media attention on the incident, according to a report by ESPN.
Antonelli had posted a light‑hearted TikTok video repeatedly asking “where is my towel?”, a clip that quickly went viral and became part of the post‑race chatter.
Mercedes later shared a video on Instagram showing the 19‑year‑old receiving a fresh white towel embroidered with the message “To Kimi from Kim,” to which he replied, “Thank you Kim!”
Kardashian had been in the Monaco paddock to support Lewis Hamilton and was filmed wiping her face with a towel she did not realise belonged to Antonelli.
The Italian teenager appeared unfazed by the moment and went on to become the youngest winner of the Monaco Grand Prix, securing his sixth consecutive victory and extending his championship lead.
The towel exchange added a light comic footnote to a dominant weekend for Antonelli, who has emerged as one of the season’s standout performers.
