Aster partners with Brevis to introduce verifiable computation, enhancing speed, privacy, and security across decentralized trading.

Aster DEX advanced its technology roadmap on Tuesday by integrating Brevis, a zero-knowledge computation platform. The companies announced a partnership that will aim at improving trading speeds while increasing privacy and security. Moreover, the collaboration is aimed at one of the sector’s longest-standing problems: obtaining CEX-level performance without sacrificing decentralization.

Partnership Brings New Capabilities to On-Chain Trading

According to the announcement, Brevis will move complex computations on-chain off-chain and use zero-knowledge proofs to verify the computation. This approach reduces the cost of operation while ensuring trustless security.

Verifiable computation enables the fast running of computation with fast verification by cryptography. Furthermore, the partners intend to consider privacy safeguards that maintain transparency in the broader aspects of the markets.

DEXs traditionally suffer disadvantages when it comes to balancing speed, trustlessness, and privacy. Full on-chain execution slows performance and reveals user positions, while hybrid models create tradeoffs. Therefore, the integration represents an important step to resolving an issue that has challenged the industry for years.

Background Highlights Increasing Demand for ZK Infrastructure

Brevis’ technology has made it possible to achieve execution speeds close to the centralized exchanges. Further, the verification takes place in seconds without losing the decentralization. Industry blogs remarked that this model eliminates the old choice between performance and privacy, which was imposed on traders. In addition, privacy layers can be used to safeguard user-specific data while preventing the public from having to limit its access to market-wide activity.

Aster DEX has positioned itself as a multidisciplinary firm focused on institutional-grade trading architecture and focused on multi-chain trading. Research references have been placed on the exchange looking for pairing user experience improvements with cryptographic safeguards. Consequently, it seems like a good match in the long-term development strategy to build advanced execution systems.

The Aster (ASTER) token was trading on a price range from ninety-five to ninety-eight cents in early December. Market trackers put the value of the project at approximately two point one billion dollars. Moreover, analysts said Aster’s position in the market was a sign of growing demand for scalable and secure trading environments. The integration announcement coincided with a higher level of conversation across industry channels with regard to next-generation DEX performance.

This ensures that markets can function well and with high throughput while ensuring transparent protection systems. As a result, analysts view the collaboration as a model for decentralized infrastructure in the future.

Industry reports also stressed the importance of securing position-level data to ensure competitive trading environments. Moreover, broader transparency in aggregated markets has continued to be key for regulatory and operational clarity. Therefore, the combined architecture is used to deal with both institutional and retail priorities.

The partnership may have an impact on the liquidity distribution in the multi-chain environments. Improved execution speeds can lead to a better order book depth, whilst privacy measures could entice larger traders. However, analysts said it was important for rapid execution layers to align with secure verification flows, so as not to raise liquidation concerns during times of market stress.

Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For

The post Fed Decides On Interest Rates Today—Here’s What To Watch For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Topline The Federal Reserve on Wednesday will conclude a two-day policymaking meeting and release a decision on whether to lower interest rates—following months of pressure and criticism from President Donald Trump—and potentially signal whether additional cuts are on the way. President Donald Trump has urged the central bank to “CUT INTEREST RATES, NOW, AND BIGGER” than they might plan to. Getty Images Key Facts The central bank is poised to cut interest rates by at least a quarter-point, down from the 4.25% to 4.5% range where they have been held since December to between 4% and 4.25%, as Wall Street has placed 100% odds of a rate cut, according to CME’s FedWatch, with higher odds (94%) on a quarter-point cut than a half-point (6%) reduction. Fed governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman, both Trump appointees, voted in July for a quarter-point reduction to rates, and they may dissent again in favor of a large cut alongside Stephen Miran, Trump’s Council of Economic Advisers’ chair, who was sworn in at the meeting’s start on Tuesday. It’s unclear whether other policymakers, including Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid and St. Louis Fed President Alberto Musalem, will favor larger cuts or opt for no reduction. Fed Chair Jerome Powell said in his Jackson Hole, Wyoming, address last month the central bank would likely consider a looser monetary policy, noting the “shifting balance of risks” on the U.S. economy “may warrant adjusting our policy stance.” David Mericle, an economist for Goldman Sachs, wrote in a note the “key question” for the Fed’s meeting is whether policymakers signal “this is likely the first in a series of consecutive cuts” as the central bank is anticipated to “acknowledge the softening in the labor market,” though they may not “nod to an October cut.” Mericle said he…
