PANews reported on December 18th that Travel Retail Norway announced that Oslo Airport's duty-free shops now support Bitcoin payments for Klikk & Hent orders upon pickup. The service, powered by Satoshi Consult and supported by the Lightning Network, processes transactions in Norwegian Krone (NOK) in real-time with no additional fees. Currently, it is only available at Oslo Airport and may be expanded to other city stores and other payment methods in the future. The Norwegian travel retail company TRN stated that this move aims to improve payment convenience and attract digital currency users.
