News Brief
PANews reported on January 29th that London-based crypto custody firm Copper is exploring a potential IPO, with Goldman Sachs, Citi, and Deutsche Bank possibly managing the listing. Although a company spokesperson stated no immediate IPO plans exist, they haven't dismissed ongoing discussions. Ultimately, the decision depends on recent revenue figures. Should this materialize, Copper would become the second crypto infrastructure company to go public following competitor BitGo, which launched on the NYSE last week at $18.00 per share with approximately a $2.00 billion market cap. BitGo's shares surged roughly 20.00% on debut day, reaching a peak valuation of $2.60 billion. Notably, Copper's founder previously established Bron Labs, a digital asset security venture that secured $15.00 million in initial funding.
