PANews reported on November 18th that, according to Decrypt, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated at the Devconnect conference in Argentina that FTX is a negative example of the Ethereum philosophy. He said that Ethereum is a decentralized, "cannot be evil" community, while FTX is a centralized company that requires the trust of a few people.
Buterin emphasized that the essence of blockchain technology is "trustlessness," and criticized FTX for relying on public trust, which ultimately led to its collapse. He also stated that Ethereum's development is community-driven and transparent, rather than controlled by a centralized company.
