Independent restructuring and capital solutions investment bank expands senior execution team with experienced restructuring advisor

Ensis Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on restructuring advisory and capital solutions, announced that Konstantin Malyshkin has joined the firm as a Principal. Malyshkin brings experience with stakeholders across the middle and upper-middle market in restructuring, special situations and private capital, including serving as an advisor on complex capital structures, in-court and out-of-court restructurings, financings and strategic transactions.

Malyshkin joins Ensis Partners from Houlihan Lokey, where he was a Vice President in the firm’s Financial Restructuring group. During his time at Houlihan Lokey, he advised an ad hoc group of creditors of a Brazilian telecommunications company in connection with its restructuring and related financing processes. He also advised boards of directors on strategic alternatives and recapitalization transactions and served as debtor-side advisor to a large offshore drilling company.

“We are pleased to welcome Konstantin to Ensis Partners as we continue to grow our team with experienced advisory professionals,” said Richard Shinder, Co-Founder and Partner at Ensis Partners. “Konstantin has advised on highly complex restructuring situations across creditor- and company-side mandates, and his experience navigating sophisticated capital structures will enable him to offer valuable capital solutions counsel to our clients. Having professionals such as Konstantin choose to join Ensis from established platforms validates our core thesis that the market for this bespoke advisory product continues to grow, and we look forward to his contributions to the firm.”

“Konstantin delivers the analytical rigor, transaction experience market presence and client-first orientation that are central to the Ensis approach,” said Mark Buschmann, Co-Founder and Partner at Ensis Partners. “As market conditions continue to create both challenges and opportunities for middle and upper-middle market companies and stakeholders, we believe his background across restructuring advisory, private equity and alternative investments will further strengthen our ability to deliver creative, bespoke capital solutions in high-pressure situations.”

Earlier in his career, Malyshkin was an Investment Analyst at Performance Equity Management (now known as Sagard Private Equity Solutions), and on the business development team at LGT Capital Partners.

“Ensis Partners has built a differentiated investment banking platform focused on senior-level attention, technical depth and thoughtful execution,” said Malyshkin. “I am excited to join Mark, Rich and the broader Ensis team as the firm continues to grow, and I look forward to helping clients navigate complex financial situations and pursue outcomes that create long-term value.”

Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC

The post Franklin Templeton CEO Dismisses 50bps Rate Cut Ahead FOMC appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson has weighed in on whether the Federal Reserve should make a 25 basis points (bps) Fed rate cut or 50 bps cut. This comes ahead of the Fed decision today at today’s FOMC meeting, with the market pricing in a 25 bps cut. Bitcoin and the broader crypto market are currently trading flat ahead of the rate cut decision. Franklin Templeton CEO Weighs In On Potential FOMC Decision In a CNBC interview, Jenny Johnson said that she expects the Fed to make a 25 bps cut today instead of a 50 bps cut. She acknowledged the jobs data, which suggested that the labor market is weakening. However, she noted that this data is backward-looking, indicating that it doesn’t show the current state of the economy. She alluded to the wage growth, which she remarked is an indication of a robust labor market. She added that retail sales are up and that consumers are still spending, despite inflation being sticky at 3%, which makes a case for why the FOMC should opt against a 50-basis-point Fed rate cut. In line with this, the Franklin Templeton CEO said that she would go with a 25 bps rate cut if she were Jerome Powell. She remarked that the Fed still has the October and December FOMC meetings to make further cuts if the incoming data warrants it. Johnson also asserted that the data show a robust economy. However, she noted that there can’t be an argument for no Fed rate cut since Powell already signaled at Jackson Hole that they were likely to lower interest rates at this meeting due to concerns over a weakening labor market. Notably, her comment comes as experts argue for both sides on why the Fed should make a 25 bps cut or…
