Launchpad FAQ
What is MEXC Launchpad?
MEXC Launchpad is an innovative token issuance platform where users can participate in early token offerings of high-quality projects by completing designated tasks and meeting participation requirements. Users can commit MX, USDT, or other tokens to fairly acquire new tokens.
Eligibility and Rules
- Who can participate in MEXC Launchpad?
- Users who have completed KYC Verification are eligible to participate.
- Market makers and institutional accounts are not eligible to participate.
- Institutions and users from restricted countries/regions are not eligible to participate.
- How to participate in Launchpad?
Head to the Launchpad event page and select the project token you wish to subscribe to.
- Can users participate in both the MX and USDT pools at the same time?
Yes! The two pools are calculated separately, and users can participate in both simultaneously. However, each pool has its own requirements (e.g., the USDT pool may require task completion). Please refer to the specific announcement for details.
Subscription
- What tokens can be used to participate in MEXC Launchpad?
Projects are typically available for subscription using either MX or USDT. For the specific tokens supported in each subscription, please refer to the project announcement details.
- How is the token price determined?
The subscription price for new tokens using USDT or MX will be displayed on the Launchpad event page before the subscription period begins.
- Will the subscription funds be transferred?
Yes, funds will be transferred once your participation is confirmed successful. Upon successful subscription, the corresponding amount will be deducted from your account. If your subscription fails, your funds will be unlocked and fully refunded to your Spot account within 24 hours.
- How are received tokens calculated?
- Full Subscription: When the total subscription amount is less than available tokens, users receive tokens based on the amount committed (e.g., 1 USDT = X new tokens).
- Oversubscription: When the total subscription amount exceeds available tokens, tokens are distributed proportionally. User's allocated tokens = (User's committed amount / Total committed amount) × Total number of new tokens.
- Why are the tokens received fewer than expected?
- If the project is oversubscribed, tokens are distributed proportionally.
- If the allocated amount is less than 0.00000001 (8 decimal places), it may be considered invalid and the subscription amount will be refunded.
Funds and Distribution
- Will there be a refund if the subscription fails?
- Cause of Failure: Not completing tasks, allocation being too small, project cancellation, or account behavior issues.
- Refund Process: Funds will be fully refunded to your Spot account within 24 hours.
- When will the tokens be distributed?
Tokens will be immediately distributed to your Spot account after the allocation period ends. You can view them under Wallets → Spot → Spot Statement → Events/Savings → and select Launchpad as the Transaction Type.
- Is there a lock-up period for the tokens received?
Typically, tokens can be traded immediately. For specific lock-up periods, please refer to the project announcement details.
